I was pointed towards http://www.misi.co.uk, a website for selling handmade goods. Much like Etsy but UK based, so I opened up my own little shop on there!
Take a look and also at some of the other UK artists on there, some really nice stuff.

Another print finished. A rainy day outside means a day of computer inside. Fishy the Goldfish is now ‘digitised’ and available on Red Bubble.

After being inspired by certain fantasy films I made myself a twisted wire work and leather pendant centred around a glass eye. After several comments from friends I thought I’d make a few more!
The eyes are hand painted glass and the leather is shaped around them made to look like the eye lids and skin of the creature, sometimes with faux fur. The wire work is then wove and twisted around in a unique design and secured.

If you like the look of these they are currently for sale through my Etsy shop, so have a little look!
For my final project at college I decided to work towards producing some concept boards for a short animation based on a Native American legend where all the light in the world is stolen but a Raven gets it back.

Animation Test with Moving Background
The animation was to be done with jointed silhouette puppets and the backgorund was to represent a swirling skyscape that was actually footage of food colouring in milk!
‘An unusual nocturnal creature, named Yamuka. Rarely sighted forest dweller, its skeletal appererance has given rise to dark tales and legends by local villages, mainly told to the children as scary tales of morality. It is, however, a peaceful herbivore and of no threat to the human population.’
Designed and by myself. Modelled in clay and cast in latex.
